Marriage class teachers Bev and Roc Bottomly

On Thursday, several of the alphas (and Landry, an omega) went on a hike with Roc and Bev Bottomly, who will be teaching the marriage class. We were taken to Queen's Canyon, which is on the property of the Navigators, who own NavPress.Roc and Bev said that the hike was two miles roundtrip and that we would pass by a thirty-foot waterfall and a punchbowl, which is an area that people can swim in.What they didn't tell us is that we would be scrambling up rock faces, across streams with wobbly rocks, and across rickety old bridges.During one of my encounters with a stream, I stumbled on one of the rocks and my feet went into the stream. That was not bad though. Jonathan slipped while he was trying to get himself up from the ledge near the punch bowl and he completely fell in.Nevertheless, the hike was very beautiful. My roommate Jen, and Roc were the only people to willingly choose go swimming in the punch bowl. We also saw a lot of dogs wading in the streams.Remember to drink lots of water.
