Tackett time on the trampoline.

The Alphas were invited to dinner at the Tackett's residence. Yea for Del Tackett! Yea for Mrs. Tackett! Yea for the Tackett golden retriever!

The Tacketts live on a five acre property with a fire pit, creek, large forest, and large trampoline. Dinner was coordinated by some of the students, and it was "Thanksgiving". We had turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, green beans wrapped in bacon, stuffing, a cornflake/sweet potato concoction, pecan pie, and pumpkin bars (Melissa made the pumpkin bars and they were very good).

We also had a worship and sharing time around the campfire area, and several of the students played ping pong and air hockey. The majority began to leave around the same time, but my driver (Brandon) was happily content on the trampoline, so that meant that Josh, Jonathan, and I had to stay. Jonathan later caught a ride home, but Brandon, Josh, Molly H., MaameYaa, Bethany, Lindy and her husband Josh, and I stayed at the Tackett's until around 9:30. Actually we stayed on the trampoline and told stories. Dr. Tackett joined us too, which was really fun. And a bat flew onto the trampoline and scared everyone, too.
